I got this CD couple of years ago and still enjoy it today.
My favorites are get this party started, Irene, yours, somebody’s watching an extreme days.
This kind of reminds me of Lincoln park A little bit.
This is a classic. But it's VERY good!
Good! Love TobyMac
I was wondering why I had never heard of this album or any of the songs before- then I looked at the release date. This album came out when I was three years old!! I love TobyMac though, his songs are so great, such as "City on our Knees", "Move", and "Made to Love". Also, he is featured in a song by Mandisa- its called "Good Morning"(featuring TobyMac). IT IS SUPER GOOD! I absolutley recommend it. 100%
I remember the first TobyMac song I ever heard was "Me Without You". After that , I was totally hooked. I have been for the last 5 years.
Probably the mot underrated tobyMac album.
This album is definitely less produced than Welcome to Diverse City onward, but this album is still just as good as some of the other albums! It’s still worth a buy, especially if you like classic tobyMac.
Momentum: where it began.
Momentum, the album that launched tobyMac's solo career after DC Talk went on hiatus. I will go ahead and say up front that this album is very good: it has nice production efforts, the songs are written well, and it's overall pretty enjoyable. However, at the same time this album is fairly different from every other studio effort released by tobyMac. It has a lot of roots reminiscent of DC talk, the songs are heavier, with more hard rock and rap influences. However, different is isn't always bad, and in this instance it's the opposite. My favorite songs on the album are "Get This Party Started", "What's Goin' Down", and "Love is in the House".
This sounds like a cross between gospel and rap. Do you know that tobyMac had a band called DC Talk in the 80’s? I don’t usually like rap because I can’t understand it but this is good. I can understand most songs on this album.
This is a good album!
This is back when Toby Mac was making good creative music! Now he is making this awful pop music. Please go back to making music like this Toby!!!
