Perfect Beauty and the Tranquility of Order
By Still Confused?
When I was young I snuck onto the grounds of a Monastery. I lay on my back in their beautiful garden listening to chants that sounded much like this. I held my breath, afraid that if I breathed the beautiful order of the garden and the chant would vanish. I loved the sound of the Gregorian chant ever since and that perfect moment when I realized the sheer tranquility that came from the order of the garden and of the song have stayed with me for over 50 years. I listen to this and I'm back in that garden.
